Q: What does my membership include?
A: As a GOLD MEMBER you get access to all areas on this site - all TV Programs, all Podcasts, all groups within the Community (except the Billionaire Adventure Club and Adventure groups), and the Building Wealth Toolkit.
As a SILVER MEMBER you get access to the "Free Zone" of the TV and Podcasts, the "Building Wealth Silver Community" in the Community area of the site, and the Building Wealth Toolkit.

Q: How do I upgrade to a Gold membership?
A: Click Here

Q: If I sign up as a Gold member and decide it is not for me, how can I downgrade back to a Silver membership knowing I will miss out on the lifetime $34.97 monthly subscription price?
A: When you submit your Gold member cancellation you will automatically be made a Silver member unless you ask to cancel your membership entirely.

Q: How do I cancel my Gold membership?

Q: How can I change my email address?
A: Please submit a Help Ticket HERE and let us know what you would like your email changed to.

Q: What do I do if I lose my password?
A: Click HERE or click on "Sign In" in the upper right of the site and then "Reset Password" in the Members Login area. You will be asked to enter your email address and a 5 digit security number so instructions can be sent to your email to reset your password. Please ensure that you click on the reset only once because every time it is clicked the previous email sent is voided for security purposes so you will see that your key is void. Emails can sometimes take up to 5 minutes to reach your inbox.

Q: How often is content added?
A: Content is added on a weekly basis. You will be informed of what is added and when via emails sent out through your member group in the community.

Q: What is the best way to navigate these pages?
A: The pages are set up in the same way to make it easy for you. The main features are:

  • Channels – you can click into a channel to view all programs or podcasts in that channel
  • Categories – you can search by topic by choosing a category
  • Latest Programs or Podcasts – this will highlight the newest content
  • Most Popular – see what media is most viewed, listened to or downloaded by the other members in the site
  • Viewed – Once you watch a TV program a red “viewed” icon will appear next to that program so you can keep track of what you have watched
  • Chris’ Favourites – Check out what Chris currently recommends here

Q: How do I change my profile in the community portion of the site?

A: Go to the "Members" tab in the menu. Roll your mouse over "Profile" and choose any of the options below. You can edit your profile, details and privacy settings here by clicking on the choices that appear.

Q: How do I control who sees what within my profile?
A: You will find this in your profile privacy settings. Go to the "Members" tab in the menu. Roll your mouse over "Profile" and choose privacy settings.

Q: How can I change how my name appears?
A: Please submit a Help Ticket HERE and let us know how you would like your name to appear.

Q: How do I add a friend in the community?
A: Once you have signed up as a free member, go to the "Members" tab in the menu. Stay on the home page there and browse the members at the top of the page. You can click into their profile by clicking on their photo. If you like what you see then click on "add as friend". They will approve or decline your request.

Q: What groups can I join within the community?
A: As a Silver Member you will automatically be added to the "Building Wealth Silver Community" group and as a Gold Member you will automatically be added to the "Building Wealth Gold Community" group. You will receive updates about content that is added to the Podcasts and TV Channels, Building Wealth Toolkit and any other exciting information about your membership. You must be a Gold Member to join any of the other groups.

Q: What are membership points, and how do I get them?
A: You can receive points within the "members" area of the site. Starting around Sept. 2010, the person who has the most points on the last day of each month gets a free gift emailed to them. Then points will be reset for the following month. Points can be received by:
  • Creating a new discussion in a group
  • Approving a friend request
  • Adding a new photo album
  • Posting on the walls of groups and other members
  • Joining a group
  • Replying to a group's discussion
  • Updating your profile status or profile
You will notice that each member has points listed next to their profile and the top members of the month are list on the left hand side of the members home page. Please disregard "Heather Porter". She is the Co-Founder of the Billionaire Adventure Club and Web Marketing Developer of the Academy of Wealth and Achievement Community. She is at the top to be visible each month in case you have questions about the site or the BAC.

Q: What do I use points for?
A: They are a measurement to track who is most active in the community and as part of a fun monthly contest where the person with the most points gets a gift emailed to them.

Q: Is there a live chat function?
A: Not in our community. However, you can send a message to another member by visiting their profile and then clicking on “write message”. You can always ask the member for their Skype username once you build a relationship with them.

Q: Can I tell who is online right now?
A: Yes. Click on the “members” tab in the menu. Once you are on the home page scroll down and on the bottom right you can see who else is online.

Q: How do I update my status?
A: Login, click on “Members” in the menu then “Profile” in the sub menu. Under the “welcome back” message at the top and to the left of your photo you will see a small edit button. Click on it and write your status update in the box. It will appear in the member feed at the bottom of the members home page. It will be visible to all members.

Q: Can I only contact the members I am friends with?
A: No. You can send a message to another member by visiting their profile and then clicking on “write message”. You do not have to be their friend.

Q: Are there message boards for conversations on specific topics?
A: Yes. If you are a Gold Member you can join any of the groups within the member area of the site (EXCEPTION: you only have access to the Billionaire Adventure Club (BAC) group and BAC Adventure groups if you are a BAC member). Find groups by hovering your mouse over “applications” then clicking on groups. Once you click into a group you will see a “join group” request in the upper right on the group home page. You will usually be approved within 48 hours.

Q: How can I best communicate to members within a group?
A: You can create a discussion if you want people to respond or write on the wall if you just want to make a comment.

Q: What is an application and how do I use it?
A: Applications allow you to add more bells and whistles to your profile. Currently, you can add your Twitter stream to your profile. To add an application go to “applications” in the submenu of the “member” page. At this time the wall has already been added to your profile so you do not need to add that. You can choose to add Twitter. More applications are coming soon like an option to link your Facebook profile to this profile. An announcement will be made via the site when new applications are added.

AFFILIATES

Q: Can I be an affiliate and if so how?
A: You must be a Gold member to be an affiliate. You can apply by clicking on "Affiliates" on the upper right hand side of the site once you are logged in.

Q: How do I find out if I am an affiliate?
A: You will be emailed with an approval or rejection via email. Once approved, the next time you login and click on “Affiliates” you will have access to your unique link, reports, terms and conditions, sales copy and ongoing support for all products we offer to our affiliates to sell.

Q: What do I get for being an affiliate?
A: You will receive a 30% commission for any monthly member fees that your referrals pay.
